Michelle joined Johnson County Animal Clinic in January of 2022. She brought with her 30 years of experience in the veterinary field. She is originally from Olathe, Kansas where she started her veterinary career as a kennel attendant at a local veterinary practice. She immediately knew this was her calling. She went on to add Customer Service Representative, Assistant and Emergency medicine to her resume. Once she began working in Specialty medicine, she quickly found her passion was in the surgery suite. She enjoys training, mentoring, and building great teams. She is passionate about building relationships with clients and their pets and providing the best experience possible for all our furry friends. When Michelle is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and volunteering for local Special Olympics activities that her sister is involved in. Michelle also enjoys spending time with her many pets, Cooper (golden retriever), Bentley (shorkie), Hamilton (corgi), Finnigan (ragdoll), Mavis (black cat) and Smokey & Lil’ Bug (Siamese mixes).
