Dr. Burkhart graduated magna cum laude from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. She also graduated summa cum laude from Kansas State University in 2021 with her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Industry.
Dr. Burkhart grew up in the Johnson County area and moved back after graduation with her fiancee, Grant. They have two cats, Eddie and Gumbo, and recently adopted a dog, Ella, through Kansas State’s Shelter Medicine program. In her free time, Dr. Burkhart enjoys spending time with her pets and friends, crocheting, playing video games, and reading.
